I’m AJ Ackerson — a dunker who fell for the sport the way most of us do: one rim, one rep, one inch at a time. At 5’8″, every dunk I land is a fight for height most people never have to win — and that’s exactly what makes chasing the hardest dunks in the game worth it.
I train inside the THP Strength system — the vertical-jump program built by Isaiah Rivera and coach John Evans, the same method behind some of the highest verticals ever tested. Every session is logged, every dunk is earned, and the progress is public.
In 2026 I was selected for The Dunk Camp — four days with the best dunkers and jump trainers in the world. My arsenal already runs deep: the J-Rich Eastbay, the 360 Eastbay, windmills, and off-one takeoffs. The goal from here is simple — keep building, get on the pro stage, and bring people along for it.
And none of it happens without my faith. It’s the engine under everything I do.
